Beyond Survival Spanish: 4-Day Challenge

A 4-Day Live Experience for Spanish Learners Who Are Tired of “Getting By” and Ready to Feel More Confident, Connected, and at Home in Spanish-Speaking Environments

🗓️ JUNE 22–25, 2026 | 🕚 11:00 AM–1:00 PM Mexico City Time
🔴 LIVE ON ZOOM WITH ERICA RAY

This Challenge is Perfect for you if...

• You can “survive” in Spanish… but still freeze in real conversations
• You’re living in (or relocating to) a Latin American country
• You live in a Spanish-speaking community
• You have trouble following a conversation spoken at natural speed
• You mentally translate before speaking
• You feel anxious before appointments, errands, or phone calls
• You want deeper conversations and real connection
• You’re tired of studying Spanish without feeling truly comfortable using it
• You want to stop feeling like an outsider in your daily life

Isn't it time to feel at home?

Imagine a world where everyday interactions in Spanish feel less stressful… where you can participate more naturally in conversations instead of freezing or mentally translating every sentence.

Imagine confidently handling conversations with neighbors, shop owners, service providers, friends, and community members—even when they speak naturally and at full speed—and feeling more independent in your daily life.

The problem is NOT that you’re bad at Spanish.

Many learners spend years studying Spanish but never learn how to bridge the gap between studying and participating.

Most learners:

  • over-study
  • under-participate
  • prepare for lessons instead of real life
  • wait to feel “ready”
  • don’t know how to bridge study and spontaneous conversation
Inside this challenge, you’ll learn a completely different approach…

What You'll Accomplish Each Day

Day 1

Gain clarity on why you still freeze in real-life Spanish conversations — even after studying for months or years — and learn a more effective approach that helps you stop mentally translating, overthinking every sentence, and feeling stuck in “survival mode.”

Day 2

Put the method into practice through guided conversations live in the workshop and a real-life mission so you can begin participating more naturally, building real confidence, and connecting more comfortably with Spanish speakers in your everyday life.

Day 3

Use practical techniques to better understand fast Spanish in real time so conversations feel less overwhelming, less stressful, and more manageable — even when native speakers talk quickly or naturally with each other.

Day 4

Create your next set of real-life Spanish goals with feedback and a clear roadmap so you can continue moving beyond “getting by” and start feeling more confident, independent, and at home in Spanish-speaking environments.

Live Coaching + Real-Life Support

This challenge is not designed to be another passive Spanish workshop where you simply take notes and disappear. Each day, you’ll also have the opportunity to receive live coaching from Erica, ask questions, share real-life experiences, and get personalized guidance as you begin applying what you’re learning in actual conversations and situations.

Ready to Move Beyond “Getting By” in Spanish?

What Happens When Learners Move Beyond Studying and Start Participating

“I’m more real-time now in terms of my comprehension and my speaking has improved…This has been the perfect format for me–just what I needed.”

Dará

Spanish for life in Mexico

“Before I had to think, ‘Ok, now I have to speak Spanish.’ Now it’s more natural. When someone says something to me in Spanish I can just reply. “

Karin

Spanish for life in Mexico

“I notice that now when I’m out and someone’s speaking Spanish, I can overhear and tell what they’re saying! Talking [in real-life situations] forces you to seek out how to be able to do it.”

Damarus

Spanish for communication with community

“It’s satisfying when somebody says something to you and you’re not translating in your head and all of a sudden the right words come out and they understand what you just said. And you’re sitting there going ‘Wow! Where’d that come from?’ A lot of people have seen the growth.”

Dará

Spanish for life in Panama

“The Spanish immersion experience was amazing. Your program is/was excellent preparation…My classes were all in Spanish. I was surprised at how much I actually knew and understood….I was able to clearly express myself and understood the majority of what was said. “

Linda

Spanish for communication with family and travel

“My husband’s family speaks Spanish…Before I didn’t even want to say hello to anybody because I was afraid it was going to develop into this conversation I couldn’t do, but my confidence has definitely gotten a lot better.”

Pamela

Your Questions Answered

What is the format of the 4-Day Challenge?

The challenge is hosted live online via Zoom and includes daily interactive sessions with Erica Ray and fellow participants, practical exercises, live coaching, and personalized guidance designed to help you start using Spanish more confidently in real life — not just in the classroom. Throughout the week, you’ll also be encouraged to complete simple real-life Spanish “missions” to help you begin moving beyond “survival mode” and participating more naturally in everyday conversations. Self-study materials are included.

What dates and times will the sessions be held?

That means:

Do I need any prior knowledge of Spanish?

Yes — this challenge is best suited for learners who already have some basic foundation in Spanish, even if they still struggle to understand fast conversations or respond confidently in real life.

You do not need to be advanced, but you should already know some basic vocabulary and be able to form simple sentences. Many participants are at the “I can survive… but I still freeze in real conversations” stage.

The teaching and coaching portions of the challenge will primarily be in English so you can fully understand the concepts and strategies being taught, though you’ll also have opportunities to practice and apply Spanish throughout the week.

Will I be required to speak Spanish live?

You’ll be encouraged to participate and apply what you’re learning throughout the week, but there is no pressure to speak perfectly. This challenge is designed to help you build confidence and real-life communication skills in a supportive environment.

How much time do I need to dedicate each day?
Plan for approximately 90–120 minutes per day, including the live teaching, interactive exercises, coaching, discussion, and implementation support.
Will I have access to the materials after the challenge ends?

Because Beyond Survival Spanish is designed to be a live, interactive experience focused on participation, implementation, and real-world action, challenge materials and recordings will only be available during the challenge week. This encourages participants to stay engaged, complete their daily missions, and take action while the momentum is high.

We strongly encourage you to attend live whenever possible and set aside time each day to participate fully in the experience..

You Don’t Need Perfect Spanish to Start Participating More Fully in Life

Over these 4 days, you’ll begin learning how to approach Spanish in a more natural, practical, and confidence-building way — so you can start participating more comfortably in real-life conversations and situations.

You are likely much closer than you think.
